Better Then Take-Out Pizza

Why Is My Pizza So Amazing?

In my house pizza is usually our Friday night special dinner.  Nothing beats sitting around with my guys munching on pizza and watching a movie together.  So to me, pizza means family time and melty cheese! The secret to my pizza is replacing the flour with cornmeal and when I am placing the dough on the pan I overlap the dough when manipulating the dough.  I have issues with making any flour and yeast product so I do store-bought dough. Then I add the sauce, ground beef or sausage then I add cheese. The overlapped part of the dough will get folded over the cheese and sauce almost like stuffed crust pizza. Then I finish adding the rest of my toppings.

 1 Pizza Dough
 6 oz Pizza Sauce
 2 cups Mozzarella Cheese
 1 cup Cheddar Cheese
1 lb Ground Beef or Sausage
 ½ lb Shaved Steak
 20 Pepperonis
 ¾ cup Cornmeal
 Whatever other toppings you want!
Garlic Butter Sauce
  stick Butter
 ¼ cup Parmesan Cheese
 1 tbsp Parsley
1 tbsp Garlic Powder or Minced

1

Let your dough rest out on the counter (preferably a warm spot) so it's easier to manipulate. Heat your oven to 450 degrees.

2

Put the cornmeal on your counter and roll the dough ball in it so your hands don't stick to the dough. Stretch out the dough to fit your pizza pan. I overlap the dough over the edges of my pizza pan, when you roll the dough over your cheese and sauce it turns your pizza into stuffed crust without having to buy cheese sticks.

3

Spoon on your pizza sauce, I add the ground beef or sausage on top of the sauce, then I add mozzarella cheese. The overlapped crust will get folded over the cheese, I tuck it in and try to add as much cheese as I can for the crust. Add the rest of my toppings, after my toppings are on I spread the cheddar cheese on top.

4

Melt the butter, then mix in the parmesan cheese, parsley, and garlic and brush it onto the crust. Bake for 15 minutes, when you pull it out of the oven let it rest for about 5 minutes.
