I am a huge fan of anything that has dough, cheese, garlic, pepperonis and sauce. Ok, I love pizza and garlic bread, but this is the best of both worlds! My pizza stuffed garlic bread is a blend of garlic, parsley, parmesan cheese and pepperonis braided into a delicious loaf.

Helpful Tip

After the dough strips were stuffed and sealed I let them rise a few minutes on the stove covered in a towel. I experimented many times to get this recipe right and I find this is the best way to get nice fluffy pizza stuffed garlic bread.

Prep Work

Cut your dough into 3 strips and roll them out

Roll out your dough, stuff your dough with the cheese mixture.

Cheese Mixture

Mix up your cheese and pepperonis, if you like a extra boost of pizza flavor add some italian seasoning into your cheese mix.

Dough

Line up your stuffed dough strips and place them seam down, braid into a long strip. You can stretch the strips to make the bread longer so you can braid it a little tighter.

Melt the butter and mix in the garlic and parsley, then brush it on the loaf. If you want you can put minced garlic into the butter for even more of a garlic flavor.

brush garlic butter mix on the loaf

Bake

Spread the parmesan cheese on the top and place in the oven for 20 minutes. This baking pan is awesome, its 18 inches long and can bake a lot of cookies or a couple of long pizza stuffed garlic breads (or strombolis)

 1 pizza dough
 1 ½ cups Mozzarella Cheese/Pizza Cheese Blend
 Pepperoni's
 4 tbsp Butter
 1 tsp garlic powder
 1 tsp Parsley
 Shredded Parmesan Cheese
 Pizza Sauce for dipping
 1 tbsp flour

1

Heat the oven to 400 degrees.
Flour your surface and cut your dough into 3 pieces, then roll them into strips as long as you can. Take your rolling pin and flatten out the strips as wide as you can get them.

2

Cut up your pepperonis so they are much smaller so they can mix better in the cheese. Grab a bowl and mix your mozzarella cheese and pepperonis together. Spread a thin strip on the dough then bring up the sides and pinch them together to seal the dough strip, do that for all the strips. Braid your strips together into a long braid.

3

Melt your butter and mix in the garlic powder and parsley and brush onto the bread. Take the Parmesan cheese and spread all over the top of the bread.

4

Place in the oven and bake for 20 minutes. Let it cool for a couple minutes, while you wait warm up your pizza dipping sauce. Slice your bread and enjoy!!
